I'd rather be a Utopian than a Realist.

(who wants to ignore my month-long hiatus from blogging? you all do? Fantastic. *discards terrible excuses*)

Let's ease into this naturally and slowly.
Blog layout has been tampered with. Reflects my sophisticated, university-student self, does it not? Feedback; do give. Will be much appreciated. (Why am I talking in short, uncouth phrases? I blame Twitter. These, ladies and gentleman, are the effects of a 140-characters max. generation).
{who what wear?}
  • vintage blouse, $2, Little Miss Vintage fill-a-bag sale 2.
  • lavender-coloured belt, $1, random vancouver thrift store 3.
  • red pashmina scarf 4.
  • green, red & blue kitten heels, $4, thrifted
School is pretty much over (one examination left. P.S. abbrev. are for squares). FIRST YEAR OF UNIVERSITY IS FINISHED. I'm one of those
  • 'utopic' nerd-geeks \yew-toh-pik 'nərd ˈgēk\ (noun) --You know, the keener in the first few rows of lecture halls. The reading-snippets-of-the-textbook-for-fun pupil. The silent one during the 'omg-I-hate-such-and-such-class' gab sessions.
More about first year in future posts. So school is over which means time which means unusually long run-on grammatically incorrect sentences and more posts from me! (can I hear a collective rendition of 'Yipeeeeee!' *crickets* Well, jeez.)

Good to be back.
Now [I am going to proceed to]...

@Anon2: Why are you apologizing? I love that adjective--ridiculous. It is one I try to convey in all my sartorial endeavors; thank you!

Salam, Urooba! How are you and your studies? Well, I am a fan of your clothes combinations. And I like the combo:colours of the tunic+colours of the shoes.
Do you know islamic mangas? I posted some of them in my blog.
Allah maak!

@Under Urooba's Umbrella!: I apologized because I think the outfit would've looked better without the headscarf.
