LIVING ON THE EDGE

I survived The Busiest Week Of Life As Of  Yet! THIS CALLS FOR APPLAUSE. GIMME SOME OF YO CYBER APPLAUSE.
It was fun!  Spent more time in downtown Vancouver than in my own room, mhm.
It was busy, 'cause of that production I was in, 'member? Called the Edge Project.
Scroll through old posts to find out more, comment, become a follower of this blog, eat a pb & j sandwhich....hm, what?
Daaang, I AM SUPERBLY CLEVER.
So yes.

Also, have y'all heard of Challenge Day? Yeah, that kept me busy for one day out of this week. I'm too lazy to explain it. Google it, or better yet, googlegooglegooglegoogle.com it. YEEYEE.
Heartwrenching stuff, lolz.

Okay, hmm, I probably shouldn't publicly admit this...but I cried in my biology and chemistry classes on Friday. Literal tears streamed down my face.
It was my inner nerd coming out. LET'S JUST SAY LOW MARKS AND STRESS STRESS STRESS.

Stop the awwwing, I have good  news. :) Today, I bought a buncha old Vogue issues for ten cents each.
WAH HAH, CHA CHING, S-C-C-ORE!
They will be manically pulled apart and shredded and teared to go on my Wall of Fashion Inspiration of Extreme and Utterly Inspiring Inspiration  (WFIEUI).
WFIEUI is pretty. She's only a few months old. She is loved and nurtured. The father is Innate Passion for Fashion.
He doesn't even send child sevice checks, yo.
HEH.

Outfit = A month-ish old = wore it for my grad photos.

ON ME:
  • metallic scarf: Ross, $8
  • wetlook leggings: Urban Outfitters, $5
  • belt: 'lil bro's!
  • silver kitten heels: Joe Fresh, $3
  • purse: vintage
  • "dress": part of an ethnic oufit of my mothers' in the 80's... so, vintage, yeah yeah yeha?
And my make-up was pretty superb. You can't tell, but believe me it was.

KAY KAY KAY, G'NIGHT.

Did you say the kameez (chemise, shirt, dress-like thing... yeah, I'm Pakistani, so it's 'kameez' to me!) is your mum's? I don't know how often you go to Pakistan, but that Anarkali-esque shirt is making quite the rounds in the Pakistani fashion community! Don't believe me? Check out these links:

Oh, and how about doing one entry with just ethnic (i.e. Pakistani :|) clothes? Perhaps with a modern twist? I'd love to see your retro funky take on shalwar kameez!
